Business Development Representative (BDR)

Overview
DetailPage helps Amazon brands grow organic traffic through patented, AI-assisted content optimization and market insights. We're building a hungry, metrics-driven revenue engine and we need a Business Development Representative to own top-of-funnel growth: finding qualified prospects, booking high-value meetings for our sales team, and keeping our CRM healthy.
This is a full-time role for a builder — someone who can run thoughtful outreach sequences, hustle at tradeshows, and turn prospect signals into predictable meetings for the sales team.
What You'll Do
Pipeline & Outreach
- Run outbound prospecting campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone) that generate qualified meetings for Account Executives
- Create and A/B test email/LinkedIn sequences and value props tailored to segments (e-commerce, private label brands, enterprise)
- Use Sales Navigator and other tools to identify and prioritize target accounts and contacts
CRM & Data
- Own Salesforce hygiene: create and update leads/opportunities, log activity, and maintain accurate pipeline records
- Track outreach metrics and conversion rates; report weekly on meetings booked, reply rates, and pipeline contribution
- Collaborate with marketing to translate inbound interest into qualified sales meetings
Events & Tradeshows
- Represent DetailPage at industry tradeshows and events — staff booths, run outreach lists, follow up with leads, and schedule post-event meetings
- Help plan event presence (prospect lists, messaging, collateral) and produce effective pre/post-event follow up campaigns
Collaboration
- Work closely with AEs to qualify prospects and ensure smooth handoffs
- Partner with marketing to refine messaging and generate content that supports outreach
- Share field intel — buyer pain points, competitor messaging, and win/loss feedback
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Haves
- 1–3 years of experience in a BDR/SDR, inside sales, or growth role (SaaS or e-commerce experience a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and strong CRM hygiene habits
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting via cold email, LinkedIn, and phone
- Clear, persuasive writer and confident communicator on calls/virtual meetings
- Highly organized, metrics-driven, and able to manage multiple outreach sequences and event logistics
- Willingness to travel to tradeshows and customer events
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach/Yesware, or similar sales engagement tools
- Background working with Amazon brands, e-commerce, or retail tech
- Prior tradeshow or event staffing/coordination experience
